Experience

Dr. Joyce Hongsermeier began teaching piano while she was in high school. For over 30 years, she has taught private piano and voice to students of all ages. Joyce has also taught with the Children's Chorus of Maryland, was a Director and Conductor of the Children's Chorus of Carroll County, taught piano, voice, and musicianship with the Hereford Rec Council Music program in Baltimore County, and managed and taught with the Instrumental Music Program at The Park School. She has taught vocal/ choral/ general music in various public school systems.

Joyce currently teaches Piano and Voice at the ARTiST Music Education Center in Perry Hall, and Class Piano and Musicianship at Essex Campus of the Community College of Baltimore County. She is a member of the Maryland State Music Teachers Association, Greater Baltimore Music Teacher Association, and Carroll County Music Teachers Association.
