To put it simply, you get what you pay for. The fees at Smart Music Studio are not bargain basement. What you get in return is music education and guidance from an experienced teacher, and master musician with a DMA.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are those for which the student/teacher relationship is one-on-one, that is the student and teacher share the lesson time privately, with no other students. Length of lessons is set appropriate to the level and objectives of the student, and the parents, if appropriate. Normally, lessons times are selected from 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute lengths. For some advanced students, lesson times of more than 60 minutes duration may be appropriate.
Fee schedule: 60 min - $40., 45 min - $30., 30 min - $20.
Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-Private lessons are those for which the student/teacher relationship is shared with another student, that is the lesson time with the teacher is shared between 2 students. Again, length of lessons is set appropriate to the level and objectives of the students, and the parents, if appropriate. Normally, lessons times are selected from 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute lengths.
Fee schedule: 60 min - $25., 45 min - $18.75, 30 min - $12.50
Class Lessons
Class lesson are normally appropriate for very young or beginning level students. Classes are limited to 4 students who share the teachers time. Again, length of lessons is set appropriate to the level and objectives of the students, and the parents. Normally, lessons times are selected from 30 minute or 45 minute lengths.
Fee schedule: 60 min - $15.00, 45 min - $11.25, 30 min - $7.50
Coaching Sessions
Coaching sessions fall outside of the normal lesson arrangements and are crafted for specific goals of usually advanced students. Coaching sessions are appropriate for very specific musical objectives such as:
-Audition/Performance technical preparation
-Interpretive/Style guidance
-Accompaniment support (for auditions, chamber music preparation, etc.)
Fee schedule: $60.00 per hour
